A florist delivers flowers to Chýně from Ořech

Chýně lies 14 km west of central Prague and became a town on 5 May 2023. It is documented in writing in 1273 as property of Strahov Monastery.

A restaurant microbrewery is housed in the monastery's former farm buildings; it opened in autumn 1992 as the first of its kind in Czechia. The Bašta and Strahovský ponds lie in Chýně, and Strahovský Pond was restored in 1999.
