Roblín lies about 21 km south-west of central Prague and 6 km west of Černošice. In 2025, it had a population of 250.

The first written record of Roblín dates to 1365, when it was mentioned alongside Třebotov. An octagonal chapel with a bell turret dating from 1806 stands on the village green. The Karlické údolí Nature Reserve, within the Český kras Protected Landscape Area, extends into Roblín’s territory.
