Studené is part of Jílové u Prahy.

Scaffolding manufacturer HAKI is based in Studené, and its plant uses the grounds of the former Pepř gold mine. The Pepř mine operated from 1830 to 1968. Its ore-processing plant produced more than a tonne of gold between 1958 and 1968. Pepř Hill is part of Horní Studené, and its telecommunications tower also serves as a freely accessible lookout.
